I've always wanted to do this, in one form or another. The motivations have changed as I've learned over the years, but I've always wanted fibre arts and crafting to a large part of who I am and how I approach the world.

The Philosophy Behind CraftwithMeemaw

Everything you create is beautiful because it comes from your heart.
There is no one right way to do something. There may be better ways to do something to achieve the results you want, but there is rarely ever only one way to accomplish anything. Not just in crafting but in life.
The end result is rarely more important than the enjoyment of the process.

My Family

One of the biggest source of strength and inspiration for me is my family. I like to refer to them often in my blog. However, they wish to have their privacy, so you will not be seeing many pictures of them, and I will not use their names.

The Other Bronte Sister

She is my oldest child. A gifted writer and amazing cook. She met Mr. Exactly Right and moved to another state. I have forgiven him.

Han Jovi

My oldest boy. Talented artist. Loves humor. Truly compassionate. Always kind. I really wish I could be more like him.

Bugs

My sweet baby girl. Fierce and strong. Superior caregiver. Fellow Lupus sufferer. She is married to The Bearded One. He is so easy going and has so much patience we are all in awe.

Gomer

My baby boy who has grown up to be an amzaing husband and father. Takes good care of his old mom too, He is married to The Considerate One. She has such a beautiful heart.

Bubbles

This kid made me a Meemaw and changed my view of the whole world. They love art and synth pop. They want to change the world and they probably will.

Taco and Strawberry

My twin warriors. Life is never dull with them in the mix. Whip smart. Each their own individual person but still beautifully bonded to one another.
